Data Deletion
Requesting deletion of the data we hold about your connected social accounts.
Removing the app
If you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest or X account to ContentIQ, you can disconnect it at any time from Team → Connections inside the app, or by removing ContentIQ from that platform's own app settings. Either way we stop using the access tokens immediately.
Requesting deletion
Removing ContentIQ from your Facebook, Instagram or Threads settings automatically sends us a deletion request, and you will be given a confirmation code to check on this page. You can also email support@contentiq.media from the address on your account and ask us directly. We action requests promptly and will confirm when done.
What gets deleted
We delete the connection record for that social account, including the access tokens we hold for it, and we stop collecting any further metrics for it.
We do not delete the workspace's own records of work it produced — scripts, analysed content, hooks and previously collected performance figures belong to the ContentIQ account rather than to the social account, and other members of that workspace may still rely on them. If you want your ContentIQ account and everything in it deleted, email us and say so, and we will remove the account in full.
