Getting Started
Go from zero to your first content analysis in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Navigate to
/author click "Get Started" on the landing page. - Enter your name, email, and password to sign up.
- Your email is confirmed automatically — no verification step needed.
- You'll land directly in the dashboard, ready to go.
Coming from an ad? If you signed up through a link with a plan selected (e.g.

Step 2: Your Workspace
A default workspace called "My Workspace" is created automatically when you sign up — no setup required.
- If someone has invited you to their team, you'll see a pending invitation banner — click "Accept" to join.
- You can create additional teams or switch between them from the sidebar dropdown.
Tip: Team roles control what you can do. Owners and Admins can manage members, API keys, and settings. Editors can add content and run analyses. Viewers have read-only access.
Step 3: Set Up Your Brand Profile
- Go to Brand from the sidebar.
- Fill in your brand voice (e.g., "Conversational, witty, educational").
- Add content pillars — the core topics your content focuses on.
- Add competitor accounts using the format
@usernamefor cross-platform ortiktok:usernamefor a specific platform. - Configure your niche discovery settings with keywords and hashtags.
Step 4: Analyze Your First Content
- Go to Library from the sidebar.
- Click "Add Content" and paste a URL from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X.
- ContentIQ will scrape the post, extract metrics, and run a deep AI analysis.
- View the analysis by clicking on the content card — you'll see hook analysis, structure breakdown, visual analysis, and replication tips.
Step 5: Explore Discovery
- Go to Discover to browse outlier content in your niche.
- Check the Trending tab for content gaining traction right now.
- View the Competitors tab to see what your tracked competitors are posting.
- Use the Watchlist to monitor specific creators across all platforms.
