    Competitor Tracking

Monitor what your competitors are posting and how their content is performing.

    Adding Competitor Accounts

You can add competitor accounts in two places:

    1. Brand Profile → Competitor Accounts: Add accounts here for persistent tracking.
    2. Discover → Watchlist: Add accounts directly from the watchlist tab.

Both use the same data source, so adding in one place shows in the other.

Format: Use @username to track across all platforms, or tiktok:username to track on a specific platform only. Supported prefixes: tiktok:, tt:, instagram:,ig:, youtube:, yt:.

    Automated Competitor Fetch

ContentIQ automatically fetches your competitors' latest content every Sunday at 7:00 AM UTC. For each competitor account:

    1. The system scrapes the 20 most recent posts from each platform.
    2. New content (not yet in your library) is saved automatically.
    3. Each new piece is queued for deep AI analysis.
    4. Outlier scores are calculated based on the creator's average performance.

    Fetch & Analyze All

Don't want to wait for the weekly schedule? Use the "Fetch & Analyze All" button on the Competitors tab to trigger a manual fetch immediately. This:

    • Scrapes the 20 newest pieces per account across all tracked competitors.
    • Automatically queues every new piece for deep AI analysis.
    • Bypasses the weekly schedule — useful when you need fresh data now.

    Viewing Competitor Content

The Competitors tab shows content grouped by creator. For each competitor you can see:

    • Profile picture, username, and follower count.
    • Number of content pieces tracked.
    • Average outlier score across their content.
    • Expandable grid showing their latest posts with thumbnails, view counts, and outlier badges.
